Two employee additions were approved for openings in the district by the Lawrence County Unit #20 Board of Education in a special meeting Thursday at Lawrenceville High School.
Added to the staff were Morgan Reed as a secretary at Parkview Junior High School and Savannah Stevens as an aide also at the junior high. Both hirings were made after a 1 1/2 executive session and were unanimous.
The board also approved salary adjustments and stipend amounts for district personnel who perform extra duties for the district. Superintendent Doug Daugherty said it was a way of saying thanks to those involved for their extra effort.
