Lawrence County firefighters were called out to a rural structure fire Thursday.
Units of the Christy Fire Protection District and the Bridgeport Fire Protection District were mobilized around 3 p.m. to a barn that had caught fire.
Upon arrival at the scene, the fully involved building was discovered to have collapsed.
The blaze was contained to the immediate barn area with no damage to any nearby structures or the nearby woods.
Firefighters were on the scene for approximately two hours.
No other details regarding the fire such as a cause were given in the report.
There were no reported injuries.
