The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce will be seeking a new executive director in the near future.
Chamber Board of Directors President Danielle Stevens informed Chamber members Tuesday via email that Amy Michelle Seed was no longer with the office. A reason for the departure was not given. Stevens and the board expressed their appreciation for the work done and contributions made to the Chamber during her tenure. Seed, who resides in Bridgeport, took over the office in September of 2023 succeeding Paige Harvey. Prior to becoming Chamber Executive Director, she worked in marketing for Helia Healthcare. No interim successor has been named The Chamber Board of Directors is scheduled to meet next week on Wednesday.
