Lawrence County Board Chairman Jim Brewer has announced that there will be a public hearing held prior to the February meeting. The purpose of the hearing is to consider an amendment to setback regulations adopted by the county in 1957.
A setback variance will be considered for property located on Allison Lane in Lawrence Township. Anyone interested in attending and speaking at the hearing can contact the enforcement officer, County Highway Engineer Aaron Mefford or any member of the county board.
The hearing is scheduled for 3:45 p.m. CT Wednesday, February 18th, 2026, in the meeting room of the board at the Lawrence County Courthouse in Lawrenceville.
