Two people were arrested over the past weekend in Lawrence County.
A traffic stop by the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department Sunday led to the arrest of 53-year-old James Crump of rural Bridgeport on charges of Driving while License Suspended and Driving While Intoxicated (Persistent). He was booked into the Lawrence County Jail and was being held there pending a detention hearing.
66-year-old Kimberle Pitcock of Lawrenceville was picked up by Lawrenceville Police early Saturday. She was wanted for Failure to Appear in Court and was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.
