A Knox County man died in a Saturday motorcycle accident.
Deputies and emergency personnel were dispatched just before 2 p.m. to a fatal crash in the area of S. School House Road for an accident involving a motorcycle. The driver was Paul Emmons, 60.
Preliminary investigation revealed Emmons was riding his motorcycle northbound on School House Road when he lost control in a curve and was thrown from his bike. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
EMS transported Emmons to Good Samaritan Hospital with multiple internal injuries, but he died from his injuries.
