These initiatives will result in:

- Increased pipe insulation capacity: A new dedicated pipe production line in Shelbyville will add capacity to its portfolio and will utilize enhanced automation, energy efficient technology, and state-of-the-art equipment.
- Increased blowing wool capacity: Knauf also is adding a new, dedicated blowing wool line at its Shelbyville fiberglass manufacturing facility. The new line is expected to be commissioned in quarter two of 2026.
This investment is part of Knauf’s broader strategy to future-proof its operations by integrating advanced technologies, enhancing sustainability, and expanding capacity to better serve its customers. By investing in innovation today, Knauf is ensuring its ability to meet the needs of customers tomorrow.
