The Michiana Area Council of Governments (MACOG) has recently launched a new platform, Go574, that helps the public understand and explore all of their travel options in the MACOG Region (St. Joseph, Elkhart, Marshall and Kosciusko counties).
To celebrate the launch of this new platform and National Bike Month, Go574, in partnership with Crossway Trails, is hosting a Bike Month Challenge. Residents and workers in the MACOG region who log their bike trips on the new Go574 platform from May 12 to June 8 will have the opportunity to win weekly $25 gift cards and a grand prize of a Trek e-bike.
Each week between May 12 and June 8, five $25 gift cards will be randomly awarded to members who record at least four trips they took by bike during that week.
At the end of the four-week challenge, each participant who records at least 25 trips will be entered into a drawing to randomly select one winner to receive a Trek e-bike.
Go574 is free, available in the Google Play and Apple App stores, and accessible online at www.go574.com.
Go574 is available to help the public understand their travel options in the MACOG Region. Whether you need to carpool or vanpool for your commute, on-demand or assisted transportation for medical appointments, or transit options for any need, you can find it with Go574. You can also track your trips, including biking, walking, and telecommuting, to earn instant rewards.
This new app is designed to connect residents with bike, walk, carpool, and transit options to help them save money and find new ways to get around the region. Users who log their trips in the app and take advantage of the platform’s features to simplify their daily travel will earn rewards from restaurants, shops, and local activities.
Download the free app to sign up for Go574 and join the Bike Month Challenge.
