Jeffery L. Masterson, 63, of Tyner passed away unexpectedly at his home in Tyner on June 6, 2025. He was born on July 23, 1961 in Plymouth to Dillard Masterson and Darlene Zeider.
For many years, Jeffery dedicated himself to Vandaco Signs in Argos. Most recently, he delivered papers for the Pilot News in Plymouth.
Family was the heart and soul of what mattered most to Jeffery. He brought joy and warmth to family gatherings, especially with his famous green bean casserole, a beloved dish that will be fondly remembered by all who enjoyed it. He loved fishing and hunting, especially deer and rabbit. He found joy in scrapping old parts and enjoyed visiting flea markets, searching for hidden treasures. Additionally, Jeffery had a green thumb; tending to his garden to grow delicious tomatoes and corn, which were family favorites.
A proud moment in Jeffery's life came when he married Donabel Aligsao on August 12, 2014. Their love story flourished when they met in the Philippines in March of 2013. Jeffery was a good husband and their marriage brought out the best in him.
Jeffery was not only funny and kind-hearted; he was also a man known for lending a helping hand to those in need.
He and his family attended the Union Church of the Brethren.
Jeffery will be missed by his mother, Darlene Brown; beloved wife, Donabel; children, Alaina Baniewicz, Phillip Milton, and Brooke (Aaron) Dudeck; grandchildren, Nolan, Emma, Hailey, Collin, Trey, Annabelle, Keagan, Abel, Maddox, and Myles; siblings, Steve (Becky) Masterson, Gary Masterson (Kim), Melinda (Phil) Thornton, and Doug (Dareen) Masterson; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Dillard; son, Brandon; and son-in-law, Shaun Baniewicz.
No formal services will be held at this time.
