The Shelby Eastern Schools Board announced the appointment of Jim Jameson as the new principal of Waldron Junior-Senior High School.
Jameson brings nearly three decades of educational leadership experience to Waldron, having served as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, athletic director, principal, and superintendent.
Most recently, Jameson served as Superintendent of Rush County Schools.
Prior to serving as superintendent, Jameson spent thirteen years as principal of South Decatur Jr.-Sr. High School. Earlier in his career, he served as assistant principal and athletic director at South Decatur Jr.-Sr. High School and as a teacher at both Greensburg High School and Kokomo High School.
Jameson earned his Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Educational Leadership from Indiana State University, Master’s degree in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University and his bachelor's degree from Anderson University.
