The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says that the Indiana State Road 441 or 6th Street project in Vincennes gets underway this week.
A section of the road between Vigo and Willow Streets is being closed to allow for patching and resurfacing work.
That section of the project is anticipated to last through the first part of May.
The closure will impact those traveling in and around Good Samaritan Hospital.
Motorists should be aware and drive cautiously in the project area
