Consulting firms interested in working with the Indiana Department of Transportation are encouraged to email district coordinators to schedule a meeting in 2025.
The Indiana Department of Transportation will be holding Consultant Open Houses throughout 2025.
Each district plans to hold approximately 40 meetings, depending on consultant interest. Interested consultants participating in these open houses will be allotted one 30-45-minute time slot per district per year.
These open houses are for both INDOT and consultants to:
• Meet and build upon or form new relationships;
• Consultants to understand what the INDOT district is looking for in Letters of Interest;
• Consultants to introduce new project managers for their firms to INDOT.
Of note, no items on either the 12-month Request for Proposal list or those currently advertised may be discussed at this event.
The venue, whether online or at INDOT district facilities, is at the discretion of the INDOT district and is subject to change. If virtual is requested, the district may choose to collect the virtual interests and pick a separate day for all virtual meetings. Interested consultants should contact the district’s respective coordinator via email (see list below) to obtain district specific instructions.
Consultant handouts (updated consultant details and contact information) are appreciated at the district meetings. The handouts though must be provided electronically to the respective district coordinator one week in advance of the scheduled meetings. If the handouts are not received at least a week in advance of the scheduled meetings, the consultant will be responsible for providing the handouts to the attendees.
In the email to the respective district coordinator, consultants should include:
• “Consultant Open House 2025” in the subject of the email.
• Firm name (If an abbreviated firm name, specify meaning) and contact information, including contact name, title and phone number.
• Firm’s prequalification work-types, including any certifications in processing.
• Areas the firm has interest in discussing during the scheduled meeting time (program management, environmental services, construction inspection, etc.).
