Illinois State Police (ISP) Troop 9 has released additional information on the disappearance and discovery of a Lawrence County man.
54 year old Trevor Seed of Lawrenceville was found dead Monday morning in his vehicle in rural Lawrence County.
He had been reported missing Saturday afternoon, last seen in his Dodge Dakota truck.
The ISP received notification Monday around 11 a.m. of the discovery of a single vehicle accident on Gravel Pit Road at the intersection with Allison Lane near Lawrenceville.
Reports indicate that Seed's vehicle was involved.
It veered off the roadway for some unknown reason and crashed into a canal waterway.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other information regarding the incident was being released.
