Heartland Art Center has announced the date for its annual Black & White Gala & Auction, one of the region's most anticipated arts fundraisers. This year's event will be held on Friday, November 13th, at the historic REES Theatre in downtown Plymouth.

The gala, now in its latest edition, moves to the storied REES Theatre for what organizers describe as "an unforgettable evening celebrating art, creativity, and community." The event raises funds to support the transformation of Heartland's historic downtown home into a vibrant new center for the arts.

Attendees can expect an immersive evening of live art demonstrations, live music, and creative performances, complemented by cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres. A curated auction will offer guests the chance to bid on distinctive items, with organizers promising "a few surprises along the way."

The Black & White Gala has become known for its creative dress code, and this year is no exception. Guests are encouraged to embrace creative cocktail attire in black and white — ranging from classic and elegant to artistic, unexpected, and completely original.

Tickets for the event go on sale to the general public in mid-September. Heartland Art Center members will receive early access to tickets before sales open to the public, offering a head start on securing a spot at the popular event. The organization is encouraging those who are not yet members to join now, not only to gain early ticket access but also to support Heartland's work throughout the community.

For now, Heartland is simply asking supporters to save the date. "We can't wait to share what we have planned," organizers said.
