According to court documents, a Greencastle man was sentenced to 55 years in jail following a conviction in his wife's death. Putnam County Circuit Court Judge Matthew Headley handed down the sentence.

Police responded to the scene in the 3000 block of South County Road 550 West to find Nancy Rosa's deceased body in the living room. Deputies noted she had been shot multiple times. An investigation revealed Nancy Rosa was shot at a close distance, and investigators located a .357 gun, as well as blood splatter on her husband's clothing and body. Rosa told investigators multiple times he had no memory of what happened to his wife.
