Marshall County Adult Education is offering a unique opportunity to upskill the local workforce.
On Friday, the Marshall County Community Foundation/United Way welcomed Lara Pastore, Division Director of Adult Education with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. Pastore is also the sister of the Marshall County Community Foundation /United Way of Marshall County Operations Manager, Juli Macey.
Pastore is wanting register 12–15 participants for a Core Construction Technology class being offered right here in Marshall County.
The best part of this unique opportunity is that the class is fully funded through a grant that expires in the fourth quarter. This means there is no cost to adult participants.
The Core Construction Technology class is being offered on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Marshall County Adult Education space in the Lincoln Education Center at 220 North Liberty Street in Plymouth.
Linda Yoder, Executive Director of MCCF/UWMC said, “This is an excellent chance to help individuals gain valuable skills while strengthening our local workforce. Please share with anyone who may benefit!”
The funding will expire soon unless sufficient registration is secured (by October, if not before).
