A Fountain County man has found himself behind bars following a multi state investigation into child exploitation charges.
Late last year, the Rockville Police Department was contacted by the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to assist the Vermilion County (IL) Sheriff's Office on an ongoing investigation. The investigation resulted in the arrest of 41-year-old Cory Keeling, Fountain County.
According to law enforcement officials, Keeling was arrested and charged with one count of Class B Felony Sexual Misconduct with a minor and a Class C felony charge of sexual misconduct with a minor.
Parke County officials and the Rockville Police say a local investigation into Keeler remains ongoing and there will no further details released to protect the integrity of the case and privacy of the victim.
Anyone with additional information related to this investigation is encouraged to contact local law enforcement. The Rockville Police Department was assisted by the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the Vermilion County Sheriff’s Office, and the Parke County Prosecutor’s Office.
