The National Weather Service Flood Warning continues until further notice for the following rivers in the GIANT fm listening area:
- Flatrock River near Columbus.
- East Fork White River at Columbus down to near Rivervale and at Shoals.
- Driftwood River near Edinburgh.
- Big Blue River at Shelbyville.
- East Fork White River near Bedford and at Williams.
Drivers are advised to turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
Shelby County Swift Water Rescue answered two calls involving vehicles into flood waters.
