Meeting agendas for Monday’s Common Council meeting and Tuesday’s Board of Works meeting and Police Merit Commission meeting are not yet posted.
Wednesday’s Plan Commission special meeting will take place at Shelbyville High School to accommodate a larger crowd.
There is one item on the agenda posted at the city website – a petition for annexation of approximately 429 acres located east of the State Road 44 and Interstate 74 interchange.
The property is currently zoned Agricultural and Single Family Residential. The petition is requesting the land be zoned General Industrial.
The purpose of this special meeting is only to address the annexation and rezoning of the property -- not any future uses of the land.
