Candidates interested in filing for school board seats can begin filing on Tuesday, May 21st. The deadline to file for a school board seat is noon on June 20.
Candidates filing for open school board seats have to complete a petition with the names and addresses of at least ten registered voters within the school corporation's boundaries. The names on those petitions have to be verified as registered voters within the boundaries of the particular school corporation they are filing for.
In November voters living in the various school corporations in Marshall County can vote for their candidates.
Candidates all file in Marshall County except for John Glenn and Union-North (LaVille); they both will file in St. Joseph County.
