Dignitaries from the state of Illinois, Lawrence County and the city of Lawrenceville were on hand Monday to help Farm Credit Illinois officially open its new facility in Lawrenceville.
The new building is located at 2401 West Haven Road and is contains around 11,000 square feet which houses 14 office spaces for 14 employees and 6 additional workspaces. It also houses an 85-person community room that is available for public use.
Construction began in June of 2024 and was completed in phases over the period.
Farm Credit Illinois is a farmer owned lending cooperative that provides farm families over 60 rural counties with credit and financial services.
