Three movies are on tap for this week at The REES in downtown Plymouth.
Tickets for all three are available online at reestheatre.com; Fernbaugh’s Jewelry, on North Michigan Street; and at the door 45 minutes before the movies begin.
Friday night, March 8th, it’s Date Night with “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.” Optimus Prime, the Autobots, and other Transformers are taking on their biggest challenge to save Earth.
The Date Night movie is for those 18 & older. The movie is rated PG-13, tickets are $5 and the movie begins at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, March 10th at 2 p.m. “There’s no crying in baseball!” The Family Movie Matinee is “A League of Their Own,” starring Tom Hanks and Gina Davis. A professional female baseball league including the South Bend Blue Sox springs up in the Midwest to fill the void left during World War II.
Rated PG. Tickets are $5 for adults. Children 12-and-under are free with an accompanying adult.
Next Wednesday, March 13 at 2 pm. it’s the monthly Seasoned Citizens Matinee. “Calendar Girls,” starring Helen Mirren, is based on a 1999 true story about a housewife who devises a unique way to raise money for leukemia research. Rated PG. Your $5 ticket includes a box of popcorn and a non-alcoholic drink for everyone 55-and-older.
