Court officials in Lawrence County have continued the case involving Dylan Smith of Vincennes.
Smith, 32, in Lawrence County was facing charges related to domestic battery. With the case pending, Smith was arrested on August 5 in Vincennes on a murder charge following the death of 32-year-old Taylor Hendershot, the same victim in the domestic violence case out of Lawrence County.
Smith, on the murder charge, is facing up to 85 years in prison if convicted. He is scheduled to appear in Knox Circuit Court on October 6th for a pretrial omnibus date. Smith is currently scheduled for trial on the murder in Knox County on November 4.
Meanwhile, Smith is facing a September 30 trial date for an incident where he allegedly resisted law enforcement with a deadly weapon.
