Just before midnight, the Shelbyville Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection of North Michigan Road and 200 West.
A driver managed to get out of a car that went into a retention pond Thursday.
Just before midnight, the Shelbyville Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection of North Michigan Road and 200 West where a car left the roadway and stopped in the retention pond. The driver was able to exit the car before emergency units arrived and was treated and released at the scene.
No reason was given for the accident.
