Two teens were airlifted from a Cass County crash scene.
Cass County Central Dispatch received a call of the single vehicle crash just after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. At CR 525 North near CR 400 East. A 2016 Chevrolet Malibu had veered off the roadway for an unknown reason, crashed into multiple trees and then a single large tree.
The occupants, both age 18, had to be extricated from the vehicle. They were airlifted to Parkview Regional Health in Fort Wayne with serious injuries. They were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
