VIGO COUNTY, Indiana (DLC Media) - The Vigo County Sheriff's Office has reported the death of one of its detainees over the weekend. 63-year-old Jack L. Eggers of Terre Haute died of a reported medical episode on Saturday._x000D_ _x000D_ Eggers had been experiencing chest pains that morning and an evaluation was conducted by on-site medical personnel. Eggers was transported to Regional Hospital and taken in for an emergency surgery. While in recovery, Eggers died._x000D_ _x000D_ Eggers was being detained for pending felony charges related to child molestation and was awaiting a trial. Eggers had been in the Vigo County Jail for six months prior to the incident.
