On Tuesday,November 3, 2026, at 2:15 pm, Marshall County Central Dispatch received a call regarding a single-vehicle rollover accident in the westbound lanes of US 30, west of Fir Road.
When Officers arrived on scene, the driver, Danny Estep, 56, of Pennsylvania, said he was driving his 2010 Ford Expedition and a semi caused him to oversteer, and he drove off the road, which caused the vehicle to roll onto its passenger side.
While Officers spoke to Estep, the odor of alcohol could be detected. Estep performed Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and failed. Estep further submitted to a portable breath test, which resulted in .251.
Estep was arrested and transported to the Plymouth Hospital, where he received clearance and a certified test. The result from the certified test showed Estep was almost 4 times the legal limit.
Estep was medically cleared and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked on the charge of Operating a Vehicle with a BAC of .15% or more, which is a class A misdemeanor and a $1,505 bond. The Marshall County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the scene by Bourbon Police, Fire & EMS, as well as Lyons Wrecker Service.

Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
