Time is running out to order daffodils for the Marshall County Relay for Life's annual Daffodil Day campaign. The deadline to place orders is Wednesday, March 4th.
The American Cancer Society fundraiser offers community members a chance to spread hope while supporting cancer research, education, advocacy, and patient programs. The daffodil, spring's first flower, serves as a symbol of hope in the fight against cancer.
Orders include options for one bunch of 10 fresh daffodils for $15, a vase for $5, or the Gift of Hope—a $25 donation that sends flowers to a local cancer center, hospital, or nursing home.
All daffodil orders will be available for pick-up on Wednesday, March 19th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, located at 400 North Michigan Street in downtown Plymouth.
To place an order before the March 4th deadline, contact Joan Hunt at 574-229-2846 or Betty Kay Eley at 574-780-6452.
Proceeds support the American Cancer Society's mission to end cancer.
