The Culver Town Council will hold a public hearing on next year’s budget at 6:30 p.m. on September 26.
Culver Town Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim has provided taxpayers with information on the 2025 budget.
The taxpayer notice is posted at the Culver Town Hall and can be found online at https://gateway.ifionline.org/default.aspx. This site also contains the taxpayer portal, local tax and finance dashboard, Public Employee Compensation, and several other reports.
The 2025 budget has $3,284,102 in the General Fund, $402,225 in the Park and Recreation Fund, $150,000 for Debt Service, along with $100,000 in Cumulative Cap Development. The town has also budgeted $77,570 for the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund, $68,956 for the American Rescue Plan Fund, and $57,000 for building demolition. The 2025 budget includes $17,070 for Local Roads & Streets, $10,500 for Casino Riverboat Funds, $3,000 for Grants, $2,415 in the Opioid Restricted Fund, and $2,374 in Opioid Unrestricted Fund. The total estimated budget for 2025 is $4,175,212
