Two individuals were taken to the ER at Plymouth Hospital after an accident on U.S. 31 near Michigan Road.
On Saturday, July 26th, around 2:21 pm, the Marshall County Central Dispatch Center reported a two-vehicle personal injury collision on U.S. 31 near Michigan Road.
Deputies from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police, and Plymouth Fire/EMS responded to the scene. Two people involved in the crash were taken to the hospital for immediate evaluation.
17-year-old Drake Surgeon of Etna Green was driving a 2021 Chevrolet SUV, and 73-year-old Richard Yonover from Florida was in a 2022 Mercedes SUV.
The deputy did not provide details on how the crash happened, but stated that alcohol or drugs did not seem to be a factor at this time.
