Emergency responders were dispatched to U.S. 30 and Hawthorn Road Monday afternoon, May 6th at 4:20 for a two-vehicle crash.
The accident occurred when 70-year-old Dolores Lentner of LaPaz was traveling east on U.S. 30 in a 2016 Ford F150 and turned north onto Hawthorn Road pulling into the path of a 2019 Acura MDX driven by 42-year-old Vivek Kapurala of Ohio. Kapurala was westbound on U.S. 30 and transported to the Plymouth Hospital with minor injuries. The three other occupants of Kapurala’s vehicle were not injured.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Department was assisted by the Indiana State Police, and Plymouth Fire and EMS.
