On Friday at approximately 10:30 p.m., Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy Bennett conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the 2100 block of Oak Drive in Plymouth.
The driver was identified as 42-year-old Michael Shannon. He was found to be driving with a license status of suspended by a prior conviction.
Michael Shannon was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail for driving while suspended with a prior conviction, which is a Class A Misdemeanor. He was held on a $500 cash bond until 1:30 a.m. Saturday when his bond was posted.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
