The public is being invited to participate in two hearings on county issues being hosted Wednesday by the Lawrence County Board.
The first will be at 3:30 p.m. in the county board meeting room at the courthouse in downtown Lawrenceville. It is in reference to the tentative fiscal year 2026 budget for Lawrence County. The second hearing will occur at 3:45 p.m. in the same location. It will be for comments or questions in reference to a proposed setback variance on property located at 9565 Sumner Road which is just south of the Sumner city limits.
It is anticipated that the full county board will take action on the matters when they meet in regular monthly session at 4 p.m. Wednesday
