The Marshall County Commissioners will meet Monday morning, May 6th at 8:30 in their second-floor meeting room of the County Building. They have a full agenda for the meeting.
Jason Peters, Highway Superintendent will open bids for the Community Crossing Matching Grant projects and present the agreement. He will also present the 2023 Annual Operations Report.
Janis Holiday from the Council on Aging will present her quarterly report and seek approval of a resolution for the 2025 INDOT application for Section 5331/5339.
Thomas Kinnaird from Marshall County HOPE is seeking the county’s opioid settlement funds to provide services to a variety of citizens in the county and Rick Thompson from Marshall-Starke Development Center will give his annual report.
The County Commissioners will also hear a report from their attorney and the county auditor. There is also an opportunity for the public to ask questions and make comments and under Commissioner Items is a request from the Prosecutor’s Child Supports Division to purchase a copier. They will make an alternate appointment to the Board of Zoning Appeals and their appointments to the Marshall County Tourism Board.
