Colorado man arrested on Indiana resident for child solicitation, other charge

A Colorado man has found himself on the wrong side of Rockville law enforcement officials, resulting in his arrest.

Christopher Neal Turner, 19, Pueblo West, Colorado, was arrested by the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office on an Indiana arrest warrant for a Level 5 felony charge of Child Solicitation and a Class B Misdemeanor charge of Inappropriate Communication with a Minor.

The arrest stems from an investigation last year by the Rockville Police Department, who received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children last September.

According to Rockville Police Chief Bill McMichael, the investigation remains ongoing and no further details will be released to protect the integrity of the case and privacy of the victim.

The Rockville Police Department was assisted in this investigation by the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC), National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), the Parke County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado.
Turner is currently held in the Pueblo County Jail awaiting extradition to Indiana.
