Officers from the Plymouth Police Department arrested three individuals over the weekend.
On Friday, July 18th, just before 1 p.m., Officer Krynock initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by 28-year-old Linda Turcious Martinez of South Plum Street in Plymouth. The traffic stop was at the intersection of Center and Adams Street for a traffic infraction.
Martinez was found to have never obtained a driver's license and was lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a $100 cash bond.

On Sunday, July 20th at 1:35 a.m., Officer Witkowski with Plymouth Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Seventh Street near Harrison Street.
The driver of the vehicle, 27-year-old Deybi J Herrera of 7th Street in Plymouth, was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He was also charged with operating a vehicle without a valid driver's license and driving while suspended within the past 10 years. Herrera was booked into the Marshall County Jail.

A driver who disregarded a stop sign was also arrested by Plymouth Police on Sunday, July 20th.
At 4:10 p.m., Officer Vinson initiated a traffic stop at Walnut and Adams Street for disregarding a stop sign. The driver, Jose Escobar Rodriguez of Elkhart, was found to have a Honduran ID only and no valid driver's license. He was detained and booked in the Marshall County Jail for operating without a valid license.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed, and there is only probable cause to believe that a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
