The City of Shelbyville's Department of Behavioral Health and Equity is proud to announce that it has been awarded a $13,000 grant from FIREFLY Children and Family Alliance.
This grant will lay the foundation for the implementation of the groundbreaking Shelby County Strong program, aimed at bringing comprehensive Youth Mental Health Training to the community.

Through this partnership, the City of Shelbyville aims to address the critical need for accessible mental health resources and support for young people.

The Shelby County Strong program will equip educators, caregivers, and community members with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to identify and respond to the mental health needs of youth effectively.
