The City of Rochester Water Department has hired Will Power Excavating for the Division A water improvement project.
As part of that project, there will be many locates in the Manitou Heights area for the fire hydrant replacement part of the project. Once they are located, the public is asked to please not pull or pick up any flags that are in your yard. These flags are for Will Power to see where all the underground utilities are located.
In all, the City of Rochester maintains 450 fire hydrants throughout the city.
