The city of Lawrenceville has announced that start on Monday, September 21st, the water department will begin flushing the distribution lines inside city limits.
The process will continue throughout the week. City water customers could experience some discolored water during this time period. It is anticipated that the discoloration will be contained to the areas where the flushing is occurring, but all city water customers are being advised to check the water before any laundry work is done.
City officials say that the flushing of the lines is an inconvenience, but is necessary to reduce the possibility of discolored water for the remainder of the year and maintain the integrity of the water lines.
