The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and the Common Council will meet Monday evening in the second-floor meeting room of City Hall. Those attending should enter through the Garro Street door and move to the second floor. The meeting is also streamed through Microsoft Teams.
The Board of Public Works and Safety will hear from city department heads, the city attorney, and clerk-treasurer. There are three requests on the agenda, a street closure request from St. Michael Church to hold a Holy Processional Walk, a request to block parking spaces by Wild Rose Moon and a Request to discuss safety by Jan Lemler.
The Board of Public Works and Safety will also approve the claims and accept communications.
The Plymouth Common Council meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. The agenda includes a presentation on the US 30/31 ProPEL with the level two report and consideration on the second and third reading of an ordinance to amend the 2024 Salary Ordinance.
The city council will also consider the Tax Abatement Compliance Forms from Zentis North America, Tex-Tyler Corporation, Viking Paper, HP Plymouth, American Container and Plymouth Molding Group. The council will also consider a proposed change to the Zoning Ordinance regarding Child Day Care Services and regarding the Historic Overlay District. Members will also hear on first reading of the Stormwater Management Ordinance.
Other items on the City Council’s agenda is an update on ONE Marshall County and the Comprehensive Plan along with a chance for the public to comment on agenda items.
