Members of the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will hear two requests during their meeting Monday evening. Hoosier Tire is seeking pedestrian signage on PIDCO Drive and a request from the city’s Complete Streets Committee for a temporary Tactical Urbanism project at Jefferson and Randolph Streets.
Also, on Monday’s Board of Public Works and Safety meeting is a bid opening for the roof on the Historic Old Fire House, along with an update on unsafe buildings. The board will conduct a discussion with Dave Miller on the renaming of VanVactor Drive.
The Common Council also meets on Monday evening and will participate in a presentation of TIF Management for 2024 and review compliance forms for several tax abatements.
The clerk-treasurer will present donations for approval, and the city attorney will present the first reading of an ordinance to amend the Drug and Alcohol Policy and Testing Procedures. He will also present a resolution approving an order of the Plymouth Plan Commission.
The city meetings are open to the public and are held at 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the second-floor council chambers of City Hall. They are streamed live through Microsoft Teams.
