Plymouth’s Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt told the Board of Public Works and Safety at a recent meeting that Dan Sharpe built a street between VanVactor Drive and Miller Drive last year, and he wanted to dedicate it to the city.
The street near Indiana Wheel Company was constructed to city standards and has a total value of $266,681.
Sharp asked the Board of Public Works to name the street Jolene Drive.
Marquardt said if the street is accepted, it will add to the mileage count for the city.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety accepted the street and approved the naming request of Jolene Drive.
