Two adults were arrested, and two children were removed from a home on Wednesday after officers with the Marshall County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Troyer Street in LaPaz.
The warrant was served on June 17. Upon entering the residence, officers found two adults and two minor children inside. Evidence of suspected methamphetamine and marijuana use was discovered within the home. The Indiana Department of Child Services responded to the scene and removed the children.
Amber Cole, 36, of LaPaz was arrested on four charges: possession of methamphetamine as a Level 6 Felony, maintaining a Common Nuisance as a Level 6 Felony, neglect of a dependent as a Level 6 Felony, and possession of marijuana as a Class B Misdemeanor. She was held on a $1,500 cash bond and has since posted bond.

James Centers, 28, of Knox, was also arrested at the scene on two misdemeanor charges: possession of marijuana and visiting a common nuisance. He was issued a $250 cash bond and has since posted bond.

The Marshall County Police Department assisted in the investigation.
