The Vincennes University Alumni Association has announced that Duane Chattin will be the recipient of the 2024 Walter A. Davis Memorial Citation for Service. The citation has been awarded annually since 1952 and recognizes individuals for their community and civic efforts and professional achievements. Chattin was the Director of Public Information for the university for 35 years before his retirement in 2018 and served for many years on the Vincennes City Council. The award ceremony is scheduled for Saturday September 14th at the Green Activities Center on the VU campus. Tickets are now available.
