Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Amy-Michelle Seed has announced that they are hosting an open forum discussion on the county preparedness for the upcoming April solar eclipse event. It will be on Wednesday February 7th at 6 p.m. at the Lawrenceville High School Auditorium. The event is anticipated to bring thousands of visitors to Lawrence County and the forum will provide the opportunity for open dialogue among business owners, county and city officials, law enforcement and emergency medical personnel, and others on the opportunities and challenges it offers.
