Camp Atterbury invites its friends and neighbors for a Community Day open to everyone on Saturday.
Gates will open at 7:45 a.m. for 5K walk / run participants. The walk / run gets underway at 8:30 a.m.
From 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. several attractions will be offered including:
- Kids activities & games
- Live animals from Muscatatuck
- Military equipment displays, including a Black Hawk UH-60
- Virtual Marksmanship Simulator and Rappel Tower experience
- Bus tours of post
- Performances by 38th ID rock band 'Hoosier Havoc'
- Food vendors will be onsite
