The Marshall County Tourism Commission is forming a new nonprofit, Visit Marshall County, to promote the county’s tourism assets and events. Funded by the innkeepers' tax, this nonprofit aims to enhance local tourism.
We initially received multiple applications but understand the holiday season may have been busy. Therefore, we are extending the application period to ensure all interested individuals have the opportunity to apply.
The Marshall County Tourism Commission seeks local leaders who are passionate about tourism and community engagement to serve on the board.
Qualifications include an interest in promoting tourism and local events. They are looking for someone with experience in marketing, advertising, or community outreach. The qualified candidate will have strong leadership and teamwork skills and can commit to attending monthly meetings and supporting board initiatives.
Applicants should email a resume and optional cover letter to mctc@co.marshall.in.us. Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled. For more information, contact the Marshall County Tourism Commission at mctc@co.marshall.in.us.
