The Marshall County Commissioners have a full agenda for their meeting on Monday morning at 9:30 in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building.
The meeting begins with Highway Superintendent Jason Peters and then annual updates from Marshall Starke Development Center and the Marshall County Boys and Girls Club.
The HR Administrator will present a request to purchase a copy machine, Sheriff Hassel will ask to apply for the So Tox Oral Fluid Analyzer Device through a grant and for the CHIRP Grant while Community Corrections will ask the commissioners for approval to apply for the 2026 Community Corrections Grant.
Jack Garner, the county’s EMA Director, will present the commissioners with the 2024 EMPG Grant while the County Auditor and County Attorney will give their reports.
Under Commissioner Items is an ordinance establishing the Marshall County Public Safety Grant Program, the Council on Aging’s De-obligation of Federal and State Transit Funds, Dustin’s Place Capital Campaign agreement, and a quote for security cameras at the museum. The commissioners will also consider prepay requests for the Bowen Building Purchase and HyperWave Cameras, a vehicle purchase request for the Maintenance Department, and a report on the Jacki Walorski Memorial.
