Bridgeport City Council deals with multiple issues

The Bridgeport City Council had a full plate of matters to discuss Tuesday night.

They decided to not move forward with an ordinance governing food trucks inside city limits.

Resolutions for the sale of city owned property were approved and will be legally published.

Sale information regarding those properties will also be available at City Hall during regular business hours.

Mayor Tyler Griffin did provide an update on the sewer lagoon project, saying the work is progressing.

It was also announced that the City Wide Cleanup will be held in the last week of May starting on the east side of the city.

The cleanup will be a curbside pickup with items to be set out for pickup by 5 a.m.

More details regarding what will and will not be taken in the cleanup will be released by the city in the near future.

The council did enter into an hour long executive session and emerged to grant various pay raises to city employees.
