Bremen Village Shops to open this weekend, bringing entrepreneurial businesses to downtown

What began as a Leadership Marshall County project is becoming a reality this weekend, as the Bremen Village Shops prepare to open their doors for the first time Saturday in the heart of downtown Bremen.

The marketplace features nine retail sheds celebrating local creativity and entrepreneurship. Founder and Managing Director Amber Reed has spearheaded the project, calling it more than just a collection of small businesses.

"These entrepreneurs are not just opening shops — they're building something meaningful for the community," Reed said. "And we truly believe you're going to love what they've created."

The Bremen Village Shops will be open weekends through the second weekend of December. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday hours are 1 to 5 p.m. On the fourth Friday of each month, shoppers can also enjoy live music and food trucks from 5 to 9 p.m.

The nine shops opening this weekend include:

Nest Number 4, owned by Kim Yettaw, offers a curated selection of home goods, gifts, and the naturally made 1998 Candle Co. home fragrance and perfume line.

Uptown Renewals is a modern upscale resale boutique specializing in carefully curated pre-loved name brands at affordable prices.

Maple & Honey is Bremen's newest coffee shop, offering coffee and sweet treats to start your day off right.

Revival Rack is a gently used, name-brand children's clothing resale store that has operated online and through Facebook until now, making its first brick-and-mortar debut.

Honey Shea Studios creates handcrafted jewelry featuring elegant, meaningful designs — simple, dainty, and made with care.

Sourdough Haven Bread Co. offers organic, handmade sourdough crafted from organic ingredients, fermented with patience, and described as kind to your gut and delicious on your table.

Studio 574 specializes in custom laser-engraved and UV-printed pieces designed to bring personality to your home and meaning to your gifts.

Novacollc, previously an online boutique, is expanding into one of the shop sheds with a fashion-forward philosophy: wear what you love, and love what you wear.

Bremen Community Cares will host the ninth shop, offering a rotating space for non-profits and new entrepreneurs looking to test their ideas and connect with the community.

The Bremen Village Shops are located in downtown Bremen. Organizers invite the community to visit often, shop slow, and take home something meaningful.
